Sahibus Samahah Dato' Dr. Luqman Hj. Abdullah
Dr. Luqman, who is also the Chairman of Madrasah Rahmaniah Pondok Lubuk Tapah, is the second son of the famous Kelantan scholar, Haji Abdullah Lubuk Tapah. He has been in the United Kingdom for 4 years for PhD level studies and has obtained a doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2005 in the field of Islamic property law.

He has also produced several scientific writings in journals and proceedings in the country and abroad. On a professional level, he is a Board Member of the Pondok Kelantan Study Development Center, a Member of the Expert Panel of the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (JAKIM), a Member of the Panel of Scholars of the Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Customs of Kelantan (MAIK). Currently, holds the position of Mufti of the Federal Territory.
